Dave Genn is the latest addition to 54-40. Dave had been on the road with 54-40 for well over a year before he officially joined the band in 2005 replacing Phil Comparelli on lead guitar.
Dave’s musical credits read like a who’s who of Canadian rock. Dave is an ex member of DSK and the Mathew Good band and has recorded with and/or toured with the likes of Theory of a Deadman, Holly McNarland, Art Bergmann, Grapes of Wrath, Bif Naked and many others. He also is a wicked producer, working with bands like West Coast Pepper Sands, The Dirtmitts, By a Thread, Lillix, Armchair Cynics, Honeysuckle Serontina, Marianas Trench, and Hedley and Daniel Wesley. Dave Genn married actress/weatherperson Tamera Taggert from CTV in 2006 and they have 3 children, a son named Beckett and two daughters, Zoe and Poppy
