As 54-40 approaches their 30th anniversary, the band is pleased to announce a series of performances and projects celebrating their longevity and legacy.

54-40 will be recreating their classic "Green Album" live from top to bottom. The album, released in 1986 on Reprise Records, featured the hit songs "Baby Ran" and "I Go Blind", and was their first album to find major distribution. Coinciding with the emergence of the nation's music station, MuchMusic, the album placed 5440 firmly in the Canadian musical landscape and is often considered their best work. The "Green Album" show will be in two sets: first, the recreation of the album, followed by an intermission, after which the band will open it up to a mixture of new material and hits from the past 20 years.

The band hasn't ruled out the possibility of recreating some of their other albums "live" in the future. Their catalogue includes "Dear Dear", "Smilin' Buddha Cabaret", and "Show Me". They were recently awarded Canadian Classic Awards at the annual SOCAN Awards, for their songs "I Go Blind" and "Ocean Pearl".

54-40 ("Green Album") was produced by Dave Ogilvie and mixed by Dave Jerden. The track listing is:

BABY RAN
I WANNA KNOW
I GO BLIND
BEING FOOLED
TAKE MY HAND
